Stalemate is a situation in the game of chess where the player whose turn it is to move is not in check but has no legal move. The rules of chess provide that when stalemate occurs, the game ends as a draw.Wikipedia
My #100DaysOfCode challenge is almost finished and I am entering the final phase of this "game".
I should focus about finish the last 2 projects for the "OpenClassRooms Web Developer" formation as quickly as possible.
I feel it's time to give 100% of my mental strength every day in order to make progress on freeCodeCamp and CodeCademy as well.
Unfortunately I feel stuck in a kind of stalemate and I can't get out of it.
Day 69: 25 October 2020
My day starts with me staring at the screen for a good half an hour trying to figure out how to solve the problem in a NON recursive way. I'm fed up with creating an infinite loop and crashing Chrome…
After a good cup of coffee, I finally gained some mental clarity and I wrote this code for the Smallest Common Multiple challenge.
This code doesn't work at all... But I feel I'm on the right track !
I started writing the presentation of my fifth OpenClassRooms project.
As presentation support I will use the Hecate template provided by Slides Carnival. This site contains hundreds of templates that we can use for each type of presentation. The website does not require registration and is free of charge. Simply choose a theme and on the theme page click on Go to preview and Download. We can choose to download the file in PowerPoint or Google Slide format. Personally I always choose the second option. In this case, we will open the page with the preview of the theme and just click the Use Template button in the top right corner.
I also completed a quarter of the Upgrade to Full stack with Node.js, Express and MongoDB course (in French).
I have to finish writing my presentation and prepare the oral presentation part.
I have to read the handbook on Node.js written by Flavio Copes.
I feel physically and mentally knocked out. Working and studying intensively every day is not a pain, it is a real pleasure and I feel very lucky to be able to do so.
My problem is the lack of sleep: I work until late night and I am woken up early in the morning by all my neighbors.
